Ringo Starr is one of the world’s brightest musical luminaries and now he’s bringing his All Starr Band back to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino for an exciting new show on Saturday, November 12th.
Ringo Starr’s music has always come from his warmth, humor and exceptional skill and reveals itself in the songs we know and love: “With A Little Help From My Friends,” “Octopus’ Garden,” “Photograph,” “It Don’t Come Easy,” and “You’re Sixteen (You’re Beautiful and You’re Mine)” to name a few.
In 1962, Ringo Starr officially joined The Beatles which soon became one of the most important popular music acts of all time, or as Ringo says, “The biggest band in the land.” In 1970, Ringo released his first solo album, Sentimental Journey, and in 1971 began his unprecedented run as the first solo Beatle to score seven consecutive Top 10 singles.
In 1989 Ringo assembled his first All Starr Band and he found consistent success as a live act with his revolving All Starrs (which have included Joe Walsh, Clarence Clemmons, Nils Lofgren, Dr. John, and Billy Preston over the years). In March, 2015, Ringo released Postcards From Paradise featuring 11 original tracks and his very first single written and recorded with an All Starr Band, “Island In The Sun.” In fact that recording was done with this current and longest running line up featuring Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather, Greg Rolie, Richard Page, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonette.
